Barcelona midfielder Pedri has expressed his appreciation to Valencia supporters after receiving a warm reception from the home crowd during the Catalan giants’ emphatic 5-0 victory at Mestalla on Sunday.

The Spain international delivered an outstanding performance as Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the La Liga season with a fourth consecutive victory.

Despite representing the visiting side, Pedri was applauded by Valencia supporters, who also chanted his name during the encounter. The gesture appeared to have made a strong impression on the 23-year-old midfielder, who thanked the home fans after the final whistle.
