Explosive Allegation: ‘Why Is A Top-Secret Police File With Ogene?’ – Abure’s Camp Demands Answers

The leadership of the Julius Abure faction of the Labour Party has urged the Nigerian Police to promptly summon and interrogate House of Representatives member Afam Ogene regarding the origin of a document he allegedly obtained from the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, accused Ogene of attempting to cyberbully the AGF.
Ifoh maintained that the document in question is classified and should not be in Ogene’s possession.
The faction warned that if Ogene persists with his allegations, he risks being expelled from the party and facing a recall process.
Ifoh stated, “A classified document meant for the Inspector General of Police or the Minister of Justice cannot be held by Ogene. He is supposed to focus on lawmaking in the National Assembly, so how does he have access to such sensitive documents from the IGP and AGF’s office? If such documents exist, the IGP should investigate him.”
He added that Ogene has already been suspended from the party due to his inability to lead the party caucus in the National Assembly.
According to Ifoh, Ogene’s suspension has led him to resort to unscrupulous tactics.
“He and his backers had anticipated that Abure’s leadership would have been overturned by now, but the Supreme Court ruling thwarted their plans. We will also initiate a recall process against him because he is failing the people of his constituency,” he concluded.
