Bobrisky made these claims in an audio recording, asserting that Falana and his son, Falz, contacted her during her six-month imprisonment for naira abuse, suggesting they sought a bribe in exchange for a presidential pardon.
Falana’s legal team, comprising Olorunfemi Akinyemi and Taiwo E. Olawanle, responded by stating that Bobrisky’s claims are entirely unfounded and damaging to Falana’s reputation. They emphasized that Bobrisky has never communicated with Falana regarding any request for a pardon.
The legal representatives demanded a full retraction of the allegations and a public apology to be issued across all platforms where the statements were made. They warned that failure to comply within the specified timeframe would lead to legal action, including claims for monetary damages.
The letter outlined accusations against Bobrisky, including attempts to extort money from others during her imprisonment and misrepresenting communications with Falz. It emphasized that Falana has never engaged with Bobrisky on any matter related to a pardon or any other issue.
The legal team concluded by stating that if the demands for retraction and apology are not met within 12 hours, they will pursue appropriate legal remedies against Bobrisky.
