Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi. These appeals were related to the outcome of the February 25 election, in which President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

emerged victorious. Buhari, in a statement released by his media aide, Garba Shehu, following the Supreme Court’s rulings on Thursday, reiterated his earlier sentiments from the September 6 decision of the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC).

He described this favorable decision as “a reaffirmation of the majority’s will in the face of determined opposition from a minority who fought fiercely.”

He further commented, “Now that we have reached the end of this lengthy and costly 8-month legal journey, the nation deserves a respite. The opposition has put up a commendable struggle.

Having exhausted their constitutional rights, they should embrace the hand of cooperation extended by the Tinubu/Shettima-led APC government. It’s time to allow the government to govern and for the people to experience the promises made by the All Progressives Congress, APC.”
