FG Announces 2024 Nursing Exam Results With 88% Pass RateThe Nigerian government has officially announced the results for the 2024 Professional Examination in General and Post-Basic Nursing Programs. According to the circular, a total of 18,139 candidates successfully passed the exam, reflecting an overall pass rate of 88%. Nursing institutions across Nigeria have been instructed to access their respective results online beginning Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

The statement, signed by the acting registrar of NMCN, Ngadi Alhassan, read: “I am pleased to inform you that the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare has approved the release of the results for the November 2024 Professional Examination in General/Post Basic Nursing Programmes.”

The breakdown of the results is as follows:

•General Nursing Programme: 12,534 candidates passed, representing an 88% pass rate.

•Refresher Program: 42 candidates passed, yielding a 45% pass rate.

•Foreign Trained Nursing (FTN): 178 candidates passed, reflecting a 43% pass rate.

•Post Basic Nursing Programmes: 4,513 candidates passed, resulting in a 96% pass rate.

•Community Nursing Programme: 872 candidates passed, representing a 74% pass rate.
