Forever In My Heart – Davido Reveals Touching Reason Behind Ifeanyi-Inspired Cufflinks

During his wedding to Chioma in Miami on August 10, 2025, both paid tribute to their son in touching ways. While Chioma’s bridal bouquet carried Ifeanyi’s image pinned delicately to it, Davido wore cufflinks engraved with the same portrait.

In a conversation with Vogue Wedding, Davido explained that the gesture was deeply symbolic:

“My cufflinks held a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi — a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most beautiful night of our lives. I felt at peace. I got to marry the love of my life, and I get to wake up next to her forever.”

Meanwhile, controversy brews on social media as Anita Brown, the alleged baby mama of the Afrobeats star, appeared to throw shade in a cryptic Instagram post about celebrities living “fake lives.”

Although she didn’t call names, her lengthy write-up surfaced just days after Davido and Chioma’s star-studded wedding, which attracted top entertainers and high-profile dignitaries.

Brown ridiculed the display of luxury items such as designer handbags, flashy wedding rings, and expensive accessories, insisting many were fake. She further claimed that some wealthy figures lack integrity, values, and loyalty, adding that no level of glamour can disguise what she described as their “empty lifestyle.”
