The event was attended by notable figures, including the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Abraham George Will, host Prof. Fidelis Allen, senior security personnel, and members of the academic community. Fifty participants from all 23 local government areas of the state, along with non-indigenes, were present.

Speakers emphasized that the program aims to prevent youth involvement in violence, particularly within the political arena. The vice-chancellor expressed gratitude for the partnership with the foundation, commending Dr. Briggs for his generosity.

Participants pledged to resist becoming tools for political violence, vowing to uphold the principles of peace and integrity.
