Fubara Grants Traditional Ruler Certificate To Asari Dokubo And Three Others

On Tuesday, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, formally presented a certificate of recognition to Asari Dokubo, a prominent Niger Delta activist, officially installing him as the Amayanabo of Torusarama-Piri Elem Kalabari.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The ceremony took place during the quarterly general meeting of traditional rulers in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Governor Fubara praised the vital role of traditional institutions in promoting peace and development across Rivers State. He emphasized that the recognition of Dokubo and three other monarchs reflects the government’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting unity in their communities.
In addition to Dokubo, three other traditional leaders received their certificates of recognition from the governor:
- Winston Odiye Alamina as Oputibeya XII, Amayanabo of the Koniju Kingdom
- Eze Noble Friday Uwoh as Eze Igbu-Ehuda IV
- Ike Ehie as Eze Igbu Orlukwor
Governor Fubara congratulated the newly recognized monarchs, urging them to leverage their positions to advocate for peace, development, and unity in their communities.
In a post on X, Fubara reaffirmed his commitment to the peace, progress, and prosperity of Rivers State, adding, “I urged these esteemed leaders to use their positions to foster unity, promote peace, and strengthen harmony within their respective domains.”
