In an official statement, Charles Adeleye, the Registrar of FUTA, urged the public to dismiss the purported list currently in circulation. He highlighted the baseless nature of the information and clarified that the names attributed to the university’s academic staff are entirely imaginary.

Adeleye expressed the institution’s reluctance to address what they considered patently false information. However, the need arose due to the misleading assertion that some names on the concocted list were associated with the university.

“The names presented as FUTA academic staff are pure fiction, and no such individuals exist in the university’s staff roster. The authentic names of all legitimate staff members, including those in the professorial cadre, can be found in the university calendar,” emphasized Adeleye. The statement aimed to dispel any doubts or concerns regarding the credibility of FUTA’s academic staff, reassuring the public of the institution’s commitment to maintaining high standards.
