Ganduje Assures Improved Representation Of Women In Tinubu-Led Government

Ganduje made this commitment during a visit from a delegation led by Cecilia Yashim, the National Coordinator of the Aunty Zee Support Group, in Abuja on Friday.

“The government is already implementing policies and programs that would positively affect women. I want to urge you to align yourself with the office of the First Lady so that you can also benefit from the numerous programs she has in her plans. We have heard you and your requests, and we assure you that whatever we can do to assist you, we will do it,” he assured.

Cecilia Yashim explained that the purpose of their visit was to congratulate Chairman Ganduje on his leadership role within the party and to convey the demands of women.

She disclosed that their group, under the guidance of Hajia Zainab Ibrahim, the Deputy National Women Leader of the party, is fully prepared to educate Nigerians about government policies.

Yashim also expressed their desire for a significant ministerial appointment to be awarded to their principal as a token of appreciation for her contributions to the welfare of all Nigerians.
