Gov Bala Mohammed Outlines Main Points Of PDP Strategy SessionThe Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF), Bala Mohammed, has announced that the sole agenda for the party’s stakeholders meeting is reconciliation. In his opening remarks during the expanded meeting with the Board of Trustees (BoT), NWC, and former governors on Tuesday, Mohammed clarified, “This is a PDP meeting. It is not a governor’s or caucus meeting, but a gathering of PDP stakeholders.”

He added, “It is a one-item agenda meeting. We are united today under the leadership of Amb. Umar Damagum, and we are here to address pressing issues. We will resist any efforts to turn Nigeria into a one-party state and draw on our experiences since 1999 to offer Nigerians a viable alternative.”

At the time of reporting, only five of the party’s thirteen governors were present: Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Siminalaye Fubara (Rivers), Caleb Muftwan (Plateau), and Ademola Adeleke (Osun), as noted by Vanguard.
