in collaboration with the MacArthur Foundation serves as validation for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s commitment to accountability.
In this report, Ondo State has been ranked as the third most transparent and accountable state among Nigeria’s 36 states in terms of public fund management and policy implementation.
In response to this report, Ademola-Olateju emphasized that the state is fortunate to have Governor Akeredolu, a leader deeply committed to the importance of institutions as the driving force behind development.
She further stated, “Through this report, Akeredolu has solidified his legacy as a champion of accountability. This achievement sets a standard that should be institutionalized before the conclusion of his term in office.
The progress must be safeguarded, formalized, and upheld. Akeredolu’s legacy should be a foundation for continued progress.”
Ondo State’s consistent rise in transparency and accountability reflects a commendable foundation for achieving sustained, rather than short-term, development.
