Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya affirmed his administration’s commitment to collaborating with the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

to achieve the ultimate goal of providing high-quality healthcare services to all Gombe State residents.

The governor made this announcement during the opening of the 96th Annual Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Gombe.

He emphasized the critical role of pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in healthcare delivery and acknowledged the government’s dedication to creating an enabling environment for them to excel and make significant contributions.

Governor Inuwa pledged ongoing support and increased investment in the professional development of healthcare practitioners in Gombe State.

In his capacity as the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, Governor Inuwa regarded this year’s conference theme, “Pharmaceutical Practice: A Pivot to Universal Health Coverage in Nigeria,” as not only appropriate but also timely.

He highlighted that the conference’s objective aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his administration’s policies and initiatives aimed at achieving universal health coverage in the state.
