Reports indicate that terrorists have been active in various parts of Nigeria for over a decade, especially in the northeastern region, using explosive devices and landmines.

Speaking at the unveiling of attack UAVs (drones) and testing of locally-manufactured bombs at the headquarters of Briech UAS in Kuje, Abuja, Governor Mutfwang stressed the need for leaders and key stakeholders to ensure that no one operates within Nigeria’s borders without authorization.

He emphasized the importance of partnering with local security technology companies to bypass challenges associated with acquiring such technology from foreign sources.

The governor commended the Nigerian Armed Forces for their dedication to securing the nation, particularly highlighting their efforts in Plateau State, which has regained its status as a hub of peace and tourism due to effective technological deployment.
