Governor Sani Takes Action To Resolve Power Supply Issue At Kaduna State University

The power supply interruption was attributed to the institution’s outstanding debts, prompting the governor’s directive to clear all accumulated debts owed to the Kaduna Electric Company since 2022, aiming to restore the power supply.
In a statement issued by Muhammad Lawal Shehu, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, it was revealed that Governor Sani, after learning about the prolonged power outage affecting both campuses, instructed the Commissioner of Education, Professor Muhammad Sani Bello, to probe the root causes of the blackout.
Highlighting education as a principal focus of Governor Uba Sani’s administration, the governor assured that his office remains committed to implementing interventions and strategies to alleviate the challenges faced by students in all state-owned tertiary institutions.
