The atmosphere in Edo North is electric as the leading gubernatorial candidate in the fast-approaching Edo election, Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata, alongside his running mate Yusuf Kadiri and their seasoned campaign team, tour the region. They are passionately sharing the Labour Party’s vision with residents of villages, communities, and local governments.
What sets Akpata’s campaign tour apart is not only that he is the first candidate to embark on such a comprehensive grassroots and issue-based tour, but also his genuine focus on addressing the real problems facing the common people in the region.
Among the numerous clips circulating online, one standout moment is Akpata’s visit to the Royal Palace of Okuophellagbe of Okphella Kingdom. There, he boldly declared his imminent victory in the forthcoming Edo election and pledged to care for all Edolites.
