Hackers Breach Governor Fintiri’s X Account, Adamawa Govt Confirms

In a public statement, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, confirmed the breach and urged the public to ignore any messages or posts originating from the compromised account. “Regrettably, the Governor’s X account has been infiltrated by hackers, and any content shared from it does not reflect the views or communications of Governor Fintiri or his team,” Wonosikou noted. He assured that efforts are underway to retrieve the account and restore its authenticity, adding that the Governor deeply regrets any confusion or discomfort the situation may have caused. Wonosikou further advised that all official communications from the Governor’s office will be shared exclusively through verified and trusted platforms.
