Harvesters To Maintain Free Transportation Services For Lagos ResidentsConcerned about the rising transportation costs in Nigeria, the Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC) has committed to continuing its free bus service in Lagos. Since launching the initiative two months ago, HICC has transported over 624 passengers daily. In a statement, the organization encouraged residents to take advantage of the service and expressed a desire to expand it to more routes throughout Lagos.

“HICC recognizes the impact of rising fuel prices and increased transportation costs on commuters in Lagos and beyond. In response to this challenge, we introduced the free bus service, which has provided relief to many navigating the complexities of daily commuting in the city,” the statement noted.

The initiative aims to ease the stress of daily travel, whether for work, school, or errands, offering residents a reliable and cost-free alternative. Feedback from the public has been overwhelmingly positive, with many riders sharing how the service has significantly improved their daily lives.

The church invites everyone to utilize this free service and encourages community members to spread the word to those who may benefit from it, as they aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Lagos residents.
