Heavy Propaganda in the North Against Tinubu” — APC Chieftain Jibrin React

Jibrin made the statement during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he dismissed claims that President Tinubu is biased against the North.

The former House of Representatives member from Kano State insisted that Tinubu has consistently shown goodwill and support for the northern region throughout his political career.

He said, “Tinubu’s stronghold has not been completely decimated. Tinubu continues to remain the most influential politician in Southern Nigeria and, by extension, the entire country.

“There is heavy propaganda in the northern part of the country and nobody is going to dispute that fact. There is a perception in Northern Nigeria that some politicians are spreading—that the president does not like the North, that he has not been fair in appointments, and that he has not brought projects to the region. Even those contesting elections are spreading these narratives.

“All of these issues, when carefully examined, are false and deliberately constructed to paint the president in a bad light.

“The president has demonstrated affection for the North; all his life he has supported the North and Northerners.
