Speaking on a recent episode of the Black Box Podcast, the rapper revealed that his heavy smoking habit cost him a significant amount of money before he eventually decided to quit.
He disclosed that between 2020 and 2026, he spent about ₦340 million on weed purchased from a single dealer based in Lagos. According to him, this figure does not include additional expenses from other suppliers in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, and London.
He said, “From 2020 to 2026, I have spent ₦340 million on weed from just one dealer alone, not to even mention my other dealers from Abuja, Ghana, Jos, and London. This is just one dealer who lives close to me in Lagos.”
Ice Prince added that he has since quit smoking and alcohol as part of a broader personal transformation focused on health, weight loss, and self-discovery.
He also revealed that he has been celibate for a period of time, noting that the lifestyle changes were part of a full reset of his personal habits.
In a related interview with Beat FM Lagos, the rapper dismissed rumours that he used drugs such as Ozempic for weight loss, insisting his transformation happened naturally.
He also hinted at stepping back from music, saying his upcoming album may be his last.
According to him, he plans to settle down and get married when he turns 40, though he currently prefers to focus on personal goals rather than relationships.
