He’s A Small Boy — Peller Reacts To Carter Efe’s TikTok Ban
Nigerian content creator Peller has reacted to allegations that he was responsible for the permanent ban of fellow creator Carter Efe’s TikTok account.
Carter Efe recently lost his official TikTok account, which had reportedly amassed more than 5.6 million followers, after the platform removed the page over repeated violations of its community guidelines.
Following the development, speculation surfaced online accusing Peller of reporting Carter Efe’s account or playing a role in the decision to suspend it.
Reacting to the allegations, Peller said he had seen a video in which he was accused of being behind the ban. He referenced activities allegedly carried out by Carter Efe during a TikTok livestream, including opening a boxer on the platform, and suggested that the creator may not have anticipated that such actions could result in sanctions.
Peller, however, did not completely dismiss the allegations, saying he was not trying to debunk the claims surrounding the incident.
He also described Carter Efe as a young person and advised him to deal with the challenges arising from the loss of his account.
“I just see video where dem dey accuse me of banning somebody’s account on TikTok. When him dey open boxer on livestream and even do… on livestream, him no know say them go ban am. I’m not debunking it. He’s a small boy. Make him face his challenges,” Peller said.
Carter Efe’s account had grown into a major platform for his comedy and online activities before TikTok’s enforcement action. The ban has since generated reactions among fans and other content creators, with discussions continuing over what led to the permanent removal of the account.
