In a Facebook post on Thursday, Abugu questioned how women could openly boast about drinking as many as two to four bottles of beer. He described the trend as disturbing and reflective of deeper social issues.
“An infected society. How on earth can a woman be proud of drinking 2, 3, 4 bottles of beer,” Abugu lamented, sparking online reactions from Nigerians who are divided on whether his stance reflects genuine concern or outdated cultural bias.
