The Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) has carried out the execution of a police officer who was abducted while traveling along the Damboa – Biu Road in Borno State.
According to reliable sources, the incident occurred on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, at approximately 10:00 AM. The police officer, accompanied by his wife and children, was en route from Damboa to Biu for the Eid break when they inadvertently took a prohibited route.
Reports indicate that the officer and his family were then kidnapped by suspected ISWAP militants in the Shokotoko general area, situated roughly 73 kilometers south of Damboa.
