In an open letter shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Nasboi said he feels heartbroken by the circulating videos and reports about 2Baba, noting that he has admired and respected the music icon since his teenage years.

The entertainer praised 2Baba’s humility, calm nature, and long-standing reputation for avoiding public drama, especially regarding personal and family matters.

Nasboi urged the award-winning singer to take charge of the situation and protect the image he has built over the years.

He wrote:

I am genuinely heartbroken seeing the embarrassing videos and news about you online. It hurts because you’ve always been my mentor. I’ve looked up to you since I was 16. Sir, whatever personal battles you’re facing now may be normal, but the version of events playing out online is damaging and unfamiliar to those of us who truly love and respect you. What we’re seeing does not reflect the man we’ve always known—and it is painful to watch.
