It Was Never Davido’s Face – Tacha Finally Clears The Air Over Controversial Tattoo

Reality TV star Tacha has finally addressed the controversy surrounding a tattoo she previously had on her body, which many people believed was an image of popular Afrobeats singer Davido.

Speaking during a recent interview, the former Big Brother Naija housemate clarified that the tattoo was never Davido’s face but rather the image of a child. She described the widespread interpretation as misinformation that continued despite public speculation.

According to Tacha, she eventually decided to remove the tattoo because people change as they grow older, stressing that the decision was not necessarily connected to the public perception of the image.

She explained that even if she had previously attempted to correct the misunderstanding, many people would still have continued to believe the version circulating online.

“The tattoo wasn’t Davido’s face, it was a kid’s face, but people thought it was Davido, and I covered it because people grow. It was misinformation. Even if I cleared the air, people would still run with it. I covered it because people grow,” she said.

Tacha had previously generated widespread discussions after displaying the tattoo, with several social media users interpreting it as a tribute to Davido because of its resemblance to the singer.

The development fuelled speculation about her admiration for the music star, attracting considerable attention across social media platforms.

However, the reality star disclosed that she eventually had the tattoo removed through a laser procedure in 2024.

Her latest clarification has reignited conversations online, as fans and followers react to her explanation and the long-standing misunderstanding surrounding the controversial tattoo.
