I Made Money Through Rituals But Lost My Leg – Ogbomoso Pastor Shares Shocking Story
A pastor based in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Joel Adedeji, has recounted how his alleged involvement in money rituals during his younger years was followed by a period of financial prosperity and, eventually, the loss of one of his legs in an accident.
Adedeji made the revelation during an interview with BBC Yoruba, where he narrated how his desperation for wealth and a better life led him to seek spiritual assistance from a herbalist.
According to the pastor, the herbalist gave him instructions involving sexual intercourse with a woman of his choice, after which he was expected to use a piece of cloth to wipe her private part.
He claimed that he followed the instructions and subsequently experienced a significant improvement in his financial situation.
Recounting the experience, Adedeji said the herbalist later demanded that he carry out additional instructions after noticing that money had begun coming his way.
He further disclosed that the herbalist warned him that despite the wealth he would acquire, he would never be able to use the money to purchase a car or build a house.
The pastor said he enjoyed the financial benefits for approximately four to five years before his fortunes reportedly changed.
Narrating the accident that led to the amputation of his leg, Adedeji explained that the vehicle involved belonged to him but was being driven by someone he had given money to purchase it.
He recalled being struck by the vehicle and rushed to the hospital, where he later discovered that one of his legs had been amputated.
“Before I knew it, I got hit and landed in the hospital, and before I woke up the next day, my leg had been amputated,” he recounted.
Following his experience, Adedeji advised young people against pursuing quick wealth through questionable or dangerous means. He urged them to remain patient, work towards their goals and avoid being influenced by the temptation of sudden riches.
His account has drawn attention to the dangers of desperation for wealth and the decisions some individuals make in pursuit of financial success.
