In a video posted on his Instagram page a few days ago, Jerry discussed a woman who ended an 18-year marriage due to infidelity, only to engage in extramarital affairs with married men later on.

Though Jerry did not mention any names, social media users speculated that the message was aimed at May Edochie, who separated from her husband, Yul Edochie, after he married his colleague, Judy Austin, without her consent.

To clear the air, Jerry released a follow-up video on Instagram on Friday, stating that his message was not directed at May.

The actor criticized fans for fabricating drama where there is none and expressed disappointment in the toxic trend of associating general comments with specific individuals to create controversy in the entertainment industry.

Jerry emphasized his respect for May and stated that he has little concern for the details of her marriage with Yul. He also argued that infidelity should not be the sole reason for ending a marriage, adding that women who leave their homes due to cheating often face more challenges afterward.
