Wike, who previously served as the governor of Rivers State, is currently embroiled in a political crisis with his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Addressing the congregation, Wike emphasized the importance of discernment before becoming involved in any political altercation.

“Don’t engage in any conflict between two politicians without understanding the genuine cause of the quarrel,” advised Wike. He underscored the significance of adhering to rules in various aspects of life, drawing parallels between pastoral duties and political responsibilities.
