In his response to Senator Jibrin’s remarks, Governor Sani reaffirmed the Kaduna State government’s commitment to aiding security agencies in their constitutional duties. He emphasized the need for a swift and thorough investigation by the Army into the error attack, with the aim of holding perpetrators accountable and preventing future incidents. The governor reiterated his advocacy for a state police to complement existing security measures.

Senator Jibrin, leading a delegation including Senators Ali Ndume, Lawal Usman, Abba Moro, Opeyemi Bamidele, and Naziru Yar’Adua, pledged senators’ salaries to support Tudun-Biri community. The funds, totaling N109 million, will be forwarded to the governor for distribution to victims.

Expressing empathy for the victims, Senator Jibrin assured that the Senate is collaborating with the President and the executive arm to investigate the incident thoroughly. He emphasized the commitment to preventing such tragic events from recurring and expressed solidarity with the affected community.

In response, Governor Sani appreciated the Senate’s generous donation and urged increased intelligence sharing among security agencies to enhance overall effectiveness.

Meanwhile, the Labour Party (LP) has urged the Federal Government to publish the names of the deceased in the Tudun-Biri village bombing. LP’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, emphasized the importance of compensating the families of the victims and called for a review of military tactics to prevent unintended casualties in modern warfare.

As the victims receive a mass burial and condolences pour in from both the Federal and state governments, the aftermath of the Tudun-Biri error bombing highlights the pressing need for improved security coordination and strategic measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
