Kaduna State Governorship Election Tribunal Sets Date for Gov Uba Sani, INEC, and APC to Present Their Defence in Response to PDP’s Challenge

The petition was brought forward by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Mr Muhammad Isah-Ashiru, who are seeking to nullify Sani’s victory.
The petitioners concluded their case on Thursday, and the tribunal, led by Justice Victor Oviawe, directed the defence to present its case within the 10-day legal timeframe.
Isah-Ashiru’s lead counsel, Mr Oluwole Iyamu, SAN, expressed concerns about the competence of the last witness, an INEC official, to represent the commission in such matters before the court.
