The Kano State Police Command has achieved notable success in its efforts to combat crime, with the arrest of 15 suspected criminals and the recovery of 20 stolen vehicles in various parts of the state. The Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna, emphasized the commitment of the police to ending criminal activities in the state.
Haruna highlighted the command’s dedication to protecting lives and properties, particularly addressing the theft of motor vehicles. The arrests and recovery of stolen vehicles were attributed to the implementation of community-based policing, intelligence-led policing, and the display of professional competence in line with directives from the Inspector General of Police, Egbetokun.
The statement expressed gratitude to the residents of Kano for their understanding, cooperation, and support in the fight against crime. Haruna urged the public to continue reporting suspicious activities to the police for prompt action, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in ensuring public safety.
