According to reports, Aminu Bello Masari, the former governor of Katsina State, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund. Kabir Mashi, also known as Kaigaman Katsina, is now the Federal Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). Abdullahi Imam has been named Programme Manager of the National Cash Transfer Office.

In a statement issued in Katsina, Jobe congratulated President Tinubu for selecting individuals with exceptional leadership skills and experience. He praised Masari’s extensive career, noting his previous roles as Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Transport, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and two-term Governor of Katsina State. Jobe highlighted Masari’s significant academic achievements and international acclaim.

Jobe also commended Mashi for his previous role as Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, emphasizing that Mashi’s expertise in revenue mobilization will greatly benefit his new position at RMAFC.

Regarding Imam’s appointment, Jobe noted Imam’s solid background in accountancy and his experience as a chief accountant and bank manager, which he believes will be invaluable in his new role at the National Cash Transfer Office.

Jobe expressed confidence that these appointees will elevate their respective offices and drive innovation and positive change. He assured that the state government will support them in their national roles and hopes their success will inspire others from Katsina to excel in public service.
