Their joint statement emphasized the historic nature of the decision, aiming to bring positive change to Kogi State by ending the seven-year rule of the APC led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
It stated: “On November 4, 2023, history was made, marking a significant step towards rescuing our beloved state, Kogi, from the darkness that has shrouded it during the over seven-year reign of the APC under Alhaji Yahaya Bello.”
In the best interests of Kogi State, the Labour Party has chosen to endorse Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, for the forthcoming Kogi State Governorship Election on November 11, 2023.
This alliance is aimed at serving the greater good of Kogites and supporters of the Labour Party, and they encourage their followers in Kogi State to mobilize and cast their votes overwhelmingly for Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP gubernatorial candidate.
