Peter continued, “Foreign women, who approach love differently, captivate Nigerian men. Additionally, Nigerian men are highly sought after by women in other countries, amplifying this shift in preference.”

She further cautioned, “If Nigerian women don’t break away from the culture of treating love as a transaction and dating as a form of prostitution, we may witness a surge in unmarried women across the country. It’s concerning to see even young women, as young as 20, expecting men to fulfill their material needs, assuming it’s the norm. Unfortunately, this phenomenon seems unique to Nigeria.”
