A Nigerian lady has sparked amusement and reactions online after sharing how she finally recovered a charger she had lent to a friend about a year earlier.

The lady, identified as @itsmeraamaa on X, recounted the incident in a social media post, explaining that her friend borrowed the charger in 2025 and promised to return it the following day.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the promised return date never came, as the charger allegedly remained with the friend for several months despite the lady repeatedly asking for it.

The lady said her friend would often respond with surprise whenever she brought up the missing charger, asking if she still remembered it.

She recalled telling her friend about the charger and receiving the response, “Ah ah, you still remember that charger?”

However, the situation took a humorous turn when the lady recently visited her friend’s house and spotted the charger plugged in and being used to charge her friend’s phone.

Rather than confront her friend about it, she decided to quietly reclaim the item and put it in her bag before leaving.

She explained that her friend eventually noticed the charger was missing as she was about to leave and reportedly asked, “Wait, where’s my charger?”

The lady then cleverly returned the same question her friend had repeatedly used whenever she asked about the charger.

“Ah ah, you still remember that charger?” she replied.
