Lagos Belongs To Everyone – Charly Boy Declares, Compares City To New York In Viral Video

Veteran entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has expressed his belief that Lagos is a “no man’s land.”

In an interview with News Central on July 28, Charly Boy was asked if he agrees with the idea that Lagos doesn’t belong to any specific group, and he responded:

“Yes, because it was once our capital city and attracted people from various ethnic backgrounds who made it vibrant and lively. So, from that perspective—absolutely! Just like America, a melting pot of immigrants, Lagos reflects that same diversity. It’s Nigeria’s version of New York.”
