In line with his commitment to enhancing public transportation, Governor Sanwo-Olu aims to explore opportunities for the development of a multimodal transportation system. The visit will involve an inspection of the CCECC headquarters and ongoing projects in Beijing, with a specific focus on the Signaling System (CBTC etc.) and Metro projects.

The governor’s itinerary extends beyond Beijing, as he plans to travel to Dalian later in the week. In Dalian, he will visit the headquarters of the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation and the CRRC Lvshun base. During his time at the corporation, Governor Sanwo-Olu will engage in a high-level official meeting with the chairman of CRRC Dalian, a subsidiary of China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation.

Additionally, discussions will center around technical aspects, including the inspection of the DMUs for the Red Line and EMUs for the Blue Line. This collaborative effort involves representatives from LAMATA, CCECC, and CRRC Dalian, signaling the governor’s commitment to advancing critical transportation projects in Lagos State.
