In a series of posts on X, the artist manager narrated that while driving around 2 a.m. along the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, he encountered police officers who suddenly accused him of being behind the k!lling of several officers on the Island. He alleged that the officers dragged him out of his car, forced him into their Hilux van, and took him to the Onikan Police Station. There, they ordered him to remove his shirt, shoes, and socks, but reportedly found nothing incriminating.

He further claimed that the officers demanded ₦3 million for his release, which he refused, insisting on his innocence. After about two hours, he said they reduced the demand to ₦500,000. When he still refused, the officers allegedly threatened to fabricate evidence linking him to cultism and internet fraud.

Responding to the allegations, Hundeyin said the Commissioner of Police has summoned the implicated officers to the command’s headquarters, and an investigation is underway.
