Lagos Welcomes 2025 With Tragedy: Three Hurt In New Year’s Eve Accident

At least three individuals were injured in a crash involving a trailer, a Toyota Camry, and a Lexus car on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway on Tuesday night.

Mr. William Manga, the Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, confirmed the incident during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Badagry.

The accident occurred around 11:36 pm near the Agbo-Malu axis in the Age-Mowo area of the expressway.

“Our personnel were notified about the crash at 11:42 pm and arrived at the scene at 11:52 pm, just 10 minutes after being alerted,” Manga stated.

The collision involved a Renault trailer with license plate BK 672 RB coming from Badagry, a Toyota Camry with plate number JJJ 574 JP, and a Lexus car without a number plate.
