He praised the Air Officer Commanding, AOC, Special Operations Command, Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Eko Effiom, for the unit’s numerous accomplishments in the fight against insurgency and terrorism across the country.

“I extend a warm welcome to the AOC Special Operations and your team to Delta State. I commend your impressive career in the Nigerian Air Force.

Upon reviewing your achievements and accolades throughout your career, I’m delighted to recognize your significant contributions to our success in the fight against terrorism in the North-East.

“We acknowledge the exceptional performance of the Nigerian Air Force in various conflict zones where terrorists, bandits, and other perpetrators of violence have disrupted the peace and security of Nigerians.

“I wish to express our appreciation for the consistent support and excellent cooperation from the security agencies in Delta State. Their commendable efforts have been highly supportive of my administration.

“Over the past few months, we’ve witnessed a significant reduction in major security concerns. While complete eradication of crime might be unrealistic, we’ve effectively curbed the most significant issues.”
