Lawmaker Announces Government Plans To Repair Federal Roads Across The CountryThe Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, Aderemi Oseni, announced on Monday that the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is set to repair all federal roads across Nigeria as part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating public suffering.

Oseni, who represents Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in Oyo State, made this statement during a thank-you visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) state secretariat in Ibadan. He expressed concern over the poor condition of federal roads nationwide and urged Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu as he works to address these issues.

“Tinubu is not the cause of the current challenges, including the bad roads. These problems have persisted through previous administrations. He is committed to tackling these issues as part of his Renewed Hope Agenda, with efforts focused on repairing federal roads to ease the suffering of the masses,” Oseni said.

During his visit, he also expressed condolences to the APC over the passing of its late Chairman, Isaac Omodewu, and thanked party members for their support during his election campaign. He urged the party to unite in preparation for the 2027 elections and called on the executive members to develop a strategy to regain power.

Oseni also contributed N10 million to the party for operational purposes. In response, the acting Chairman, Olayide Abas, thanked Oseni for his visit and acknowledged his significant efforts to positively impact his constituency.
