The allegations against Boza arose following the abduction and murder of the late District Head, with the victim’s son accusing Boza of involvement. According to the son, the bandits who abducted and killed his father claimed that Boza provided them with critical information and paid them N5 million to carry out the kidnapping.

In a video, the son, speaking from a hospital bed, recounted the bandits’ confession: “The bandits said in front of me that Aminu Boza was the one who gave them the guns to kidnap us. They received the weapons during the campaign period and told my father they didn’t know him but were paid N5 million to kidnap him.”
