Recently, a letter began circulating online alleging that May had apologised to Yul. However, in a Facebook post shared through her lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, she denounced the letter as fake, describing it as “a desperate attempt to create a false narrative after all else has failed.”

May firmly clarified that she never issued an apology, stating:

“May did NOT issue any apology. It was Yul who chose polygamy and had previously apologised. However, that apology has no bearing on the ongoing legal proceedings.”

She urged the public to disregard the false claims, reiterating her commitment to continue the divorce process and pursue legal redress for the adultery.

Meanwhile, in a related development, Yinka Theisen, the estranged wife of Yul’s brother, Linc Edochie, has threatened to expose veteran actress Rita Edochie for allegedly bullying her online. This comes after Rita weighed in on the family’s public drama, claiming she foresaw the collapse of Yinka’s marriage due to the manner in which she had “forced her way” into Linc’s life.
