Enoh stated, “I am committed to addressing each problem. We cannot take action without a proper investigation. I am determined to ensure that issues are tackled individually and not allowed to fade away.”

When asked if there would be dismissals, the minister replied, “If that’s what is required, then so be it. If my investigations reveal that individuals are responsible for the negative outcomes and publicity, then accountability will follow.”

He also highlighted the need for significant reforms within Nigeria’s sporting federations to improve overall performance. Apologizing to Nigerians for the disappointing results in Paris, Enoh criticized the leadership of these federations and stressed the importance of establishing effective systems to ensure that the best athletes are selected and adequately prepared for future competitions. “We must reform our federations to achieve better outcomes,” he concluded.
