This clarification comes a year after Bobrisky insinuated that his arrest was tied to Eniola’s movie premiere in March 2024, where he was awarded “Best Dressed Female.” The crossdresser was later sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse, an incident that occurred during the event.

Following his release, Bobrisky took to Instagram, indirectly linking his ordeal to the award he received at the premiere.

However, during a recent interview on Oyinmomotv via YouTube, Eniola Ajao debunked the claims, emphasizing that Bobrisky was well aware of the real reasons behind his arrest.

“I have no issues with Bob. We’re not in any conflict. Bob knows exactly why he was arrested. But there’s no point constantly explaining things on social media because people will believe only what they want to believe,” she said.

Eniola further noted that despite the situation, she maintained contact with Bobrisky during his time in prison.

“I was always there to check on him. So how could he possibly turn against me, knowing the kind of relationship we share? Only a heartless person would abandon someone in that kind of situation. His arrest was about several matters, not just the award,” she added.
