He emphasized the deep respect and gratitude he holds for Bello, noting that the former governor played a pivotal role in his political journey.
“Yahaya Bello is like a father to me,” Ododo said. “I wasn’t born with a silver spoon, but he picked me up, and God used him as an instrument to lift me. That remains vivid in my mind.”
Pledging unwavering loyalty, Ododo urged supporters to step in and intercede on his behalf should any misunderstanding arise between him and Bello.
“A river that forgets its source will dry up,” he stated. “If you ever sense that my boss is upset with me, please, I beg you, plead with him for me. As far as I’m concerned, he remains my leader. I will not, and cannot, betray him.”
