A Nigerian man, identified as Emeka Njeako, has announced his divorce on Facebook while reflecting on his experience and sharing lessons he said he learned from the marriage.

Njeako made the announcement alongside a photograph from his wedding ceremony, describing the end of his marriage as a difficult experience and expressing regret over how events unfolded.

In his post, he advised people to be cautious about marriages arranged through connections or matchmaking, urging couples to spend enough time getting to know each other before tying the knot.

He wrote, “Officially Divorced.

“Say no to connected marriage/matchmaking marriage.

“Date your woman well before marriage, else you waste your time and resources.

“I wish I can say more, but my story is like Nollywood movie.”

Njeako did not disclose specific details about the circumstances that led to the breakdown of his marriage in the post. Instead, he focused on the lessons he said he had taken from the experience and warned others against rushing into marriage without adequately understanding their prospective partners.
