The Commission has received reports of individuals falsely claiming to represent NAHCON, making commitments to service providers regarding contracts for pilgrims’ accommodation and feeding arrangements in Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj. Prof. Usman emphasized that NAHCON has not authorized any person, group, or agent to make such arrangements on its behalf, noting that all official transactions are conducted through recognized personnel.

The statement read: “NAHCON has been informed that some self-proclaimed agents are using the Commission’s name to secure contracts for the 2025 Hajj, including reaching out to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah under the Commission’s name.”

Prof. Usman further stated, “I want to make it clear that no individual or entity has been authorized to enter into contracts or make arrangements for this year’s Hajj without formal approval from the Chairman and the involvement of designated NAHCON staff. Any such agreements are unauthorized and will not be recognized by the Commission.”

He urged the public, service providers, and stakeholders to exercise caution and ensure all dealings with NAHCON occur through official channels, warning that the Commission will not be liable for any losses incurred by those who fall victim to fraudulent schemes.
