The Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia has dismissed two employees, Yusuf Idris and Musa Dogara, on suspicion of involvement in employment fraud. Despite prior warnings, they persisted in their illicit activities, prompting management to take action. Dr. Hassan Nkrama, the hospital’s Chief Medical Director, maintains a strict stance against corruption.
Namo affirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to patients and residents of the state. Similarly, the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi dismissed two employees and suspended others over job racketeering allegations. Dr. Yahaya Adamu, the Centre’s Chief Medical Director, confirmed the decision, detailing the investigative process undertaken following media reports of racketeering in 2023. A committee was formed to probe the allegations, with findings forwarded to the Minister of Health for review. Adamu assured the public that measures have been implemented to prevent future incidents and enhance service delivery at the medical center.
