The AFRDC serves as a poignant tribute to the fallen heroes of Nigeria who made the ultimate sacrifice during significant historical events such as the First and Second World Wars, the Nigerian Civil War, global peace support operations, and various internal security endeavors.
Present at the ceremony are the service chiefs, headed by Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Christopher Musa, alongside leaders of other security agencies, collectively honoring and acknowledging the sacrifices made by these brave individuals in service to humanity.
